Hosting a Home Show is easier than you think. When you and your Independent Wall Words Consultant team up for a Home Show, having fun is only one of the benefits!

 Here are some simple steps for a fun and successful Show:  

1. Contact your Independent Wall Words Consultant to schedule a Show.  

2.With your Consultant, determine what products you want to earn, and work toward that when building a guest list and goals.

 How much of a discount does the hostess of a party get? With a minimum of 5 guests, you will receive any item in our catalog that has a value of $29.95. With a minimum of 5 orders, receive any item in our catalog that has a value of $39.95 Then if you have a party with total sales of $149.99 you would get 10% off whatever you want to order. With $150.00 to $199.99 you will receive 15% off. From $200.00 to $499.99 20%, $500.00 to $799.99 25% and $800 and up 30% off. With each party booked the hostess will receive a FREE Fancy End of her choice.  

Keep your goal in mind when you are sending invitations and taking outside orders. Your Consultant will provide invitation postcards with space for you to fill in the date, time and location of the Show. You will also be provided with forms to take orders from friends and family who live too far to attend or have a scheduling conflict and cannot attend your Show,

 3. Personally invite friends, family members and co‑workers to attend your Show. Make sure to over invite! To welcome 15 guests to your Home Show, send a minimum of 30 invitations.  

4. A few days before the show, call the people you sent invitations to remind them about the Show and ask them to bring a friend. If something has come up to keep them away, offer to take an order right then on the telephone! Your Consultant will also be checking in with you in the days leading up to your Show to offer support and helpful suggestions. Tell her about any special interests among the people who are attending the Show. She can help you reach your goals and have a successful Show!  

5.When it comes to refreshments, keep it simple and focus on the fun of being together. A hot or cold beverage, chips or cookies, and disposable plates and napkins make clean up easy and leave more time for you to enjoy your guests.  

6. Have guest measure the different areas they may want to put lettering, and then have them bring those measurements to the party. have the Consultant bring a laptop computer and layout the quotes the guest are interest in so they can tell if it will fit in the area they are thinking about.

 7. Sit back, relax and enjoy the Show!  Take time to call all of your guests and personally invite them to your Show. Encourage your guests to bring a friend. Always over invite! Who Should You Invite? Some people to consider when putting together your invitation list:

Church members

Neighbors and acquaintances

Co-workers Employees of places where you do business Spouse's co-workers and their spouses

Social contacts

Friends who have held home shows you attended

A friend whose wedding or event you attended

Contacts through your children
